Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team at SYCPC. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting team with various tasks, including financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable management, and bank statement reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate records and processing invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
