Principal Engineer - Identity Access Management

This senior engineering role involves leading the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of a team-owned product or platform. The successful candidate will work closely with product managers to ensure the team is able to resolve problems and be accountable for the reliability and uptime of applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the team-owned product or platform.
  • Working closely with product managers to ensure the team is able to resolve problems and be accountable for the reliability and uptime of applications.
  • Participating in incident management and team roster activities.
  • Being involved in reviewing and improving processes.

Requirements

  • Strong programming and problem-solving skills with a general programming language (Java preferred).
  • Ability to operate as part of a team in a changing environment with a proven record of transforming existing capabilities and processes while maintaining service quality.
  • Experience using identity management tools and working on user access management systems (SailPoint Identity IQ preferred), particularly asset integrations through various connectors.
  • Strong experience working in cloud computing environments (AWS preferred).
  • Experience with continuous integration and relevant tools, such as Git and Atlassian products like Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, etc.
  • Understanding of Agile development processes, release management processes, and production support.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with teams globally.
