As a Tobacco Trade Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the organization's mission to combat the illegal tobacco trade in the Philippines market.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in law enforcement and intelligence services to join our team as a Tobacco Trade Compliance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the Market AIT action plan, preparing engagement strategies with local law enforcement authorities, and gathering and assessing information on the illegal tobacco trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop AIT Projects, undertake financial planning and control, and communicate work plans and proposals to the line manager to ensure alignment with financial and investigative objectives.
- Conduct investigations by gathering information on all aspects of the illegal trade through cooperation with service providers and disseminate intelligence on the illegal trade in tobacco and its related products with various Law Enforcement Agencies.
- Support the organization of AIT awareness sessions for LEAs, wholesalers, and retailers, and have basic forensic skills to identify the authenticity of products and send samples to Quality Assurance Teams for detailed analysis and profiling.
- Prepare detailed reports and updates on project progression and core objectives, maintain proper records in iBase and AITO databases, and develop and analyze intelligence on all aspects of the illegal trade.
- Be prepared to travel domestically and internationally to support AITO work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Police Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in law enforcement/intelligence services and private industry.
- Fluency in English and Tagalog languages, and proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to confidently liaise and communicate with local law enforcement authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Work Setup
Shift: Dayshift, Location: Taguig, Hybrid setup.
Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary of approximately Php 250,000 - 300,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
