Apparel Design Specialist

The ideal candidate will specialize in designing socks and textile patterns with innovative designs, patterns, and color schemes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop creative and unique sock designs and patterns based on client requirements. These designs should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also meet the functional needs of the product.
  • Create detailed technical specifications for manufacturing, ensuring that all necessary details are included.
  • Select appropriate color schemes and design elements to align with brand aesthetics, taking into account current trends and consumer preferences.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and Adobe Creative Suite to develop high-quality design outputs, maintaining a focus on precision and attention to detail.
  • Stay updated with trends in textile and sock design, incorporating modern techniques and creative ideas into work.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure designs meet both functional and aesthetic goals, promoting effective communication and cross-functional understanding.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in textile or apparel design, preferably in sock design, demonstrating expertise and a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and CAD software, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient output.
  • A strong understanding of textile materials, sock construction, and knitting techniques, allowing for informed design decisions and effective problem-solving.
  • Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of sock construction, knitting techniques, and detailing, enabling the development of complex and intricate designs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, facilitating effective collaboration and project management.
