Baker Job Description

At ABRI COMMERCIAL INC, we are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Development: Develop new products for a la carte or menus on a rotating basis.
  • Baking and Decorating: Prepare, produce, and bake breakfast pastries, breads, rolls, and some desserts. Decorate baked goods, such as cream pies, using a pastry bag.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensure the proper storage and refrigeration.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean, break down, and put away all baking equipment including: ovens, mixers, proofer, floors, freezer, and refrigerators.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or NC2 Holder
  • Experience: Minimum two (1) year of baking experience
  • Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in ability to safely and effectively operate standard foodservice equipment, adaptability, decision-making, self-motivated, high energy level, multi-tasking
