Job Title: Financial Controller

We are seeking a seasoned financial expert to oversee the company's financial health and ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.

This role will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, maintaining QuickBooks Online (QBO) records, and developing financial strategies to support business growth and improve profitability.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee and manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • QuickBooks Management: Maintain and reconcile QuickBooks Online (QBO) records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Financial Strategy: Develop financial strategies to support business growth and improve profitability.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and expense tracking for the agency.
  • Payroll Processing: Handle payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for employees and contractors.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Financial Insights: Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role in a digital marketing agency or related industry.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)—must be comfortable managing financials within the platform.
  • Payroll Management: Payroll management experience, including processing payroll, tax compliance, and benefits administration.
  • Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP, financial planning, and reporting principles.
  • Agency Financials: Experience managing agency financials, project-based accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong organizational and leadership skills with high attention to detail.
