Product Development Leadership Role

This position plays a pivotal role in overseeing product development from inception to completion. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the final product aligns with organizational objectives, while driving innovation and ensuring success.

  • The Product Owner will be responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders and engineering teams to align product strategy with overall business goals.
  • A key responsibility of this role is creating and maintaining the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • The successful candidate must be able to listen to customer feedback and analyze user data to identify product solutions and/or opportunities for improvement.
  • Strategizing and presenting product development ideas to stakeholders, as well as proactively updating them on progress, is also a crucial aspect of this role.
  • This position involves creating product specifications and user stories, and working closely with engineering and business teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and understood.
  • The Product Owner will be responsible for managing the product backlog and prioritizing items based on changing requirements.
  • Continuously improving the product delivery process by embracing agile principles and methodologies is essential for success in this role.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to coach and mentor other product owners and team members to develop their product management skills.

Technical Requirements
  • 4-5 years of successful experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager (or any similar role)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience delivering data-driven solutions with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver products on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with software engineering principles and processes.
  • Solid background in delivering software applications or improving existing ones.
  • High degree of proficiency in prototyping and in growth-focused development.
  • Solid understanding of the principles and psychology behind good UX.
