Cybersecurity Head Job Description

Job Title: Cybersecurity Head

SID Global Solutions APAC is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Cybersecurity Head to join our team. This role will oversee the company's cyber security strategies, policies, procedures, and roadmap.

  • The ideal candidate should have at least five years of work experience in cyber security, with two years in a similar capacity.
  • Prior experience in network security, infrastructure security, and security operations is essential.
  • Regulatory compliance related to cybersecurity and disaster recovery planning knowledge is also required.
  • Familiarity with security technologies and tools, as well as data privacy regulations, is necessary.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and manage the company's comprehensive cyber security strategies, policies, procedures, and roadmap.
  2. Lead the cyber security team to ensure security of business data, networks, and systems, financial assets, and clients' information/data.
  3. Manage the development and implementation of security protocols and technologies.
  4. Evaluate work performance, tracks, and reviews work progress of subordinates.
  5. Provides direction and guidance.
  6. Coaches, counsels, and motivates subordinates.
  7. Identifies potential cyber security threats, addresses current risks, and responds accordingly to security breaches.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related course.
  • At least five years of work experience in cyber security, two years of which is in the same capacity.
  • Has extensive knowledge in network security, infrastructure security, and security operations.
  • Experienced with regulatory compliance related to cybersecurity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Proficient in security technologies and tools and has a strong understanding of data privacy regulations.
  • Has excellent leadership and management skills, decision-making skills, communication skills, critical thinking skills, and project management skills.
