Junior Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a developer interested in engaging in general software development tasks within a large SaaS platform.

Responsibilities:

1. Software Development: Engage in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of software features across a multi-service architecture. This includes identifying and addressing areas for improvement in code and functionality.
2. Automation: Develop and implement automated solutions for tasks currently performed manually.
3. Site Reliability: Participate in site reliability engineering tasks, including monitoring, diagnosing, and remediating issues that affect the platform's availability and reliability.
4. Continuous Learning: Take advantage of continuous learning opportunities provided through training materials and resources to enhance skills and stay updated with the latest technologies.
5. Collaboration: Work with other senior engineers within a cross-functional team, contributing to team efforts and the overall project success.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in any major programming language (preferably in .NET Core and C# for backend development).
• Familiarity or experience with React.js for front-end tasks is ideal but not required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to high-quality software development.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• A strong computer science background.
• Confidence in data structures and algorithms, including coding sorting functions if requested.
• Ability to calculate the time complexity of the code they have developed.
• Knowledge of generic types and other types in C#.
