Job Opportunity: Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead our transition from manual to automated testing, defining and implementing test strategies across our web-based platform.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation, hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, and the ability to build automated tests from scratch for web applications. Additionally, they should be familiar with TestRigor, TestRail, or similar tools for managing test cases.

Responsibilities include leading QA automation strategy and execution, selecting and implementing automation tools and frameworks, creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts. The engineer will work closely with developers and QA teammates to ensure high test coverage, automate regression, functional, and integration tests across the stack, support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate in Agile ceremonies and daily standups.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Ability to build automated tests from scratch for web applications.
  • Familiarity with TestRigor, TestRail, or similar tools for managing test cases.
  • Experience testing applications built with Ruby on Rails backends and React frontends.
Additional Skills
  • API Testing: 2+ years.
  • CI/CD Integration: 2+ years.
  • Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS): 1-2 years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to Svelte (used in parts of the frontend).
  • Familiarity with Jira or other issue-tracking tools.
