At Megabon Construction & Development Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Master Cabinetmaker - Joinery Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing modular cabinets and custom joineries in residential, commercial, or industrial spaces.

About the Role

We require a highly motivated individual with strong technical carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and plans. As a Master Cabinetmaker - Joinery Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Installation: Installing modular cabinets and custom joineries in various settings.
  • Preparation and Inspection: Preparing materials and inspecting work areas to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Finishing: Applying finishes to cabinetry and joinery components.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Performing routine maintenance and repairs on existing installations.
  • Communication: Effectively communicating with colleagues and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
Requirements

To be successful as a Master Cabinetmaker - Joinery Specialist, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: High school graduate or completion of a vocational course related to carpentry, woodworks, production, or finishing works.
  • Diploma/Training Certificate: Required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in modular cabinetry, carpentry, and woodworks.
  • Tools and Equipment Knowledge: Proficient in using tools and equipment related to the trade.
  • Joinery Techniques and Hardware: Knowledgeable about joinery techniques and hardware, including hinges, drawers, etc.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Familiarity with Materials: Familiarity with various materials used in cabinetmaking, such as plywood, laminates, and solid wood.
  • Lifting and Handling: Ability to lift and handle heavy materials and tools.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to follow instructions, work effectively in a team environment, and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
