At Megabon Construction & Development Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Master Cabinetmaker - Joinery Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing modular cabinets and custom joineries in residential, commercial, or industrial spaces.
About the RoleWe require a highly motivated individual with strong technical carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and plans. As a Master Cabinetmaker - Joinery Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Installation: Installing modular cabinets and custom joineries in various settings.
- Preparation and Inspection: Preparing materials and inspecting work areas to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Finishing: Applying finishes to cabinetry and joinery components.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Performing routine maintenance and repairs on existing installations.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with colleagues and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that may arise.
- Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
To be successful as a Master Cabinetmaker - Joinery Specialist, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: High school graduate or completion of a vocational course related to carpentry, woodworks, production, or finishing works.
- Diploma/Training Certificate: Required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in modular cabinetry, carpentry, and woodworks.
- Tools and Equipment Knowledge: Proficient in using tools and equipment related to the trade.
- Joinery Techniques and Hardware: Knowledgeable about joinery techniques and hardware, including hinges, drawers, etc.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Familiarity with Materials: Familiarity with various materials used in cabinetmaking, such as plywood, laminates, and solid wood.
- Lifting and Handling: Ability to lift and handle heavy materials and tools.
- Teamwork and Communication: Ability to follow instructions, work effectively in a team environment, and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
