We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as a Data and Trading Technology Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our IT infrastructure, including firewall security and user VPN.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT engineering, with experience in handling complex technical issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and network systems
  • Collaborate with global teams to facilitate connectivity access and permissions to various applications
  • Work with the IT director on IT projects, including new proposals, overall design, and reporting
  • Partner with DevOps/support teams to resolve technical issues
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT engineering
  • Experience in third-party vendor/supplier management and coordination
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Direct experience with US or EU customers
  • Proficiency in main Linux OS flavors: Red Hat/CentOS 6, 7, 8; Ubuntu
  • Windows administration knowledge including current releases (Windows 7/8/10) and Server versions (2008/2012)
  • Scripting skills in at least one of Bash, Python, or Perl
  • Networking knowledge including FortiGate firewall setup, static routing, DHCP, and Wi-Fi basics
  • IT automation using technologies like Ansible
