Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned financial expert to lead our accounting function, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management.

This role offers flexibility to work from home, collaborating closely with our leadership team to provide critical financial insights driving our business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end general ledger processes, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee monthly project costing, departmental reporting, and manage R&D tax rebate submissions.
  • Enhance financial systems for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Build relationships with external partners such as auditors, tax advisors, and consultants.
Requirements
  • A highly experienced finance professional with a strong track record of supporting Australian businesses.
  • Bachelor degree in commerce and/or accounting and CPA qualification.
  • Existing Financial Controller or Finance Manager with 10+ years experience in an Australian-based business.
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll and GST legislation.
  • Proven experience managing offshore teams and building stakeholder relationships.
