Utility Team Lead

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage a team of Utility Engineers, ensuring high-quality inspections and data accuracy in the electric utility sector.

This role involves overseeing the cataloging of utility assets, identifying equipment issues and potential hazards, and collaborating with utility companies to meet project goals and deliverables.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of Utility Engineers to ensure high-quality inspections and data accuracy.
  • Oversee the cataloging of utility assets and identification of equipment issues or hazards.
  • Ensure quality control of work packages and compliance with project standards.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with utility companies to meet project goals and deliverables.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align data accuracy with industry standards.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in the electric utility field (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), national engineering standards, utility construction standards, and best industry engineering practices.
