Cost Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Engineer to join our team at Solenergy Systems Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing project budgets, conducting cost analysis, and providing guidance on project planning and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project budgets, covering labor, materials, equipment, and services.
• Conduct cost analysis to estimate expected project expenses and generate cost reports as needed.
• Review completed projects to compare estimated costs with actual costs and identify reasons for any differences.
• Offer guidance on project planning, coordination, and cost control.
• Develop and implement methods for tracking and reporting costs.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to provide advice on cost control and planning.
• Monitor project expenses and recommend cost control measures.
• Verify cost data from various sources to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Perform quantity surveying and create detailed cost estimates, including Bill of Materials (BOM), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and Detailed Unit Price Analysis (DUPA).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least one year of work experience in cost control, progress reporting, quantity surveying, and estimation within the construction industry, preferably involving medium-sized buildings, roads, drainage, flood control, and site development.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
