Job Description

We are seeking a qualified civil engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction and a background working in a subdivision.

Key Activities
  • Performing complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair tasks related to property management.
  • Monitoring building system operations and performance under limited supervision.
  • Utilizing various trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
Accountabilities
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Inspecting building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure they operate within design capabilities.
  • Overseeing and inspecting work performed by outside contractors, including landscaping, snow removal, and cleaning services.
  • Performing assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Estimating time and materials needed to complete repair tasks and ordering necessary supplies.
  • Implementing energy management programs to optimize system efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • Maintaining the building lighting system and performing element and ballast repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Performing various tasks such as welding, carpentry, furniture assembly, and locksmith duties as required.
  • Responding quickly to emergency situations and summoning additional assistance when necessary.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.
