The Compliance Testing Analyst is a key member of our Compliance Department, responsible for ensuring the bank's adherence to regulatory requirements and standards.

About the Role
  • Assist in the preparation of initial new/updated Compliance Programs related to banking/AML laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Perform other tasks assigned from time to time by the Head Office Unit Compliance Testing Section Head.
Responsibilities

The Compliance Testing Analyst will be responsible for:

  1. Preparing and updating the bank's Compliance Testing Plan.
  2. Identifying relevant banking laws, rules, regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
  3. Coordinating with Head Office Unit personnel to implement the Compliance Program.
  4. Facilitating the preparation of summary reports and presentation materials.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A graduate degree in a 4-year business course such as Accounting or Banking and Finance.
  • A Certified Public Accountant certification.
  • Previous work experience (at least 1-2 years) in Audit or Compliance of a bank.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise on banking, AML laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and PowerPoint.
  • High analytical and research skills, excellent oral and written/presentation communication skills, and good work planning and organizing skills.
