Job Overview

As a key member of the finance team at Bounty Fresh Food, Inc., the Financial Planning Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Business Planning Manager in the budgeting process. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Financial Planning Manager in all aspects of the budgeting process, including developing budget templates and managing the consolidation of budgets for the Group.

The Financial Planning Analyst will utilize consolidated budget estimates from all departments to critically examine them for correctness, accuracy, and completeness, ensuring conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. Additionally, this role involves monitoring and analyzing performance to budget monthly throughout the year, providing financial advice to business unit executives and managers to undertake proper financial planning and decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Business Planning Manager in the budgeting process.
  2. Assist the Financial Planning Manager in all aspects of the budgeting process.
  3. Develop budget templates and manage the consolidation of budgets for the Group.
  4. Critically examine consolidated budget estimates for correctness, accuracy, and completeness.
  5. Monitor and analyze performance to budget monthly.
  6. Provide financial advice to business unit executives and managers.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To excel in this role, the Financial Planning Analyst should possess:

  1. Experience in Business Planning, FP&A, data analytics, forecasting.
  2. Demonstrated high level of proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  3. Working knowledge/experience on Google Workspace (Google Sheets and Google Slides) is a plus.
  4. Experience in Data Visualization tools like Visual Studio, Tableau, Power BI is a plus.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and active listening skills.
  7. Motivated self-starter.
  8. Willing to learn and coach team members.
Key Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

  1. At least 3 years' experience in business planning, FP&A, forecasting with proven ability to deliver high quality & accurate reports within timescales.
  2. Experience in an FMCG or manufacturing industry a plus.
