ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at DOXA Talent. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in real estate accounting, financial reporting, and construction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of month-end close process, preparing bank reconciliations, journal entries, and CAM reconciliations. They will also assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and support the budgeting process for properties and corporate entities.

In addition, the chosen candidate will handle accounting functions related to corporate and trust entities, work with CPA firms to provide data for audits, tax reviews, and agreed-upon procedures, and prepare fixed assets capitalization schedule.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property management/accounting software, Microsoft Office applications, and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with owners, tenants, and coworkers.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 3-5 years' experience in the real estate industry
  • Experience being part of the budgeting team
  • Strong understanding/experience of the CAM reconciliation process
