The Educational Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our students by coordinating instructors, tracking student progress, and providing exceptional customer service. This individual will be integral to our team's efforts in providing quality academic services to students and their families.
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with instructors, monitoring student progress, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
- This role requires active support for regional operations, ensuring seamless coordination with virtual teams.
- The Educational Support Specialist will provide outstanding academic services to students and their families, operating within a fully remote environment.
- Maintaining operating standards, including people, financial, and academic standards, is crucial for this position.
- Delivering programs and initiatives for our students and school district partners is also an essential responsibility.
- Meeting operational excellence standards and providing virtual administrative support are key aspects of this role.
- The successful candidate will manage class schedules to effectively staff sessions and meet company efficiency targets.
- Managing virtual tutoring sessions, monitoring student progress, and helping ensure flawless execution of programs and initiatives are critical responsibilities.
- This role requires managing one's time in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Conducting conferences with partner program directors to review progress, adjust academic plans, and renew enrollments is also an essential part of this position.
Requirements:
- This role requires excellent time management, planning, and prioritization skills.
- The successful candidate must be able to organize and manage multiple responsibilities successfully.
- A professional demeanor and ability to prioritize and focus on key objectives are essential for this position.
- Effective communication in virtual environments is vital, as well as proficiency in using all communication media.
- The ability to build engagement and trust in virtual relationships is also a key requirement.
- Works Well With Others and learning agility are necessary for adapting to changes in the work environment.
- Able to acquire new skills as required and engage, manage, and grow virtual relationships with customers, employees, and business partners.
- Ability to work independently and have a high tolerance for ambiguity are also essential.
- Bachelor's Degree required, 2-3 years progressive career growth, experience working in a virtual operations and team environment, bilingual in English and Spanish beneficial, and proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
