Job Description

A Cloud Engineer is needed to design, implement and maintain scalable cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud architectures, particularly AWS.

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated pipelines, integrating tools to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

Other key responsibilities include managing and supporting Docker and Kubernetes, implementing Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions, and automating tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The successful candidate will also have strong knowledge of AWS security best practices, IT operations skills including troubleshooting, server management, database management, and network troubleshooting.

Additionally, the Cloud Engineer will need to have excellent communication skills, be proactive and collaborative, and able to work well in a remote environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, security, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with observability tools and APM solutions.
  • Experience with IaC and automation tools.
  • IT operations skills including troubleshooting, server management, database management, and network troubleshooting.
  • System administration skills: Apache/Nginx configuration, OS updates, and patching.
  • Strong scripting skills.
