Cloud Services Leader

At Canonical, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Services Leader to manage a growing engineering team and optimize the quality and velocity of development and operations. As a key member of our BootStack team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating modern distributed systems on private infrastructure for customers.

  • We seek someone with expertise in:
  • Software delivery using Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar
  • Managing operations teams
  • OpenStack experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to testing methodologies and maintainable code quality
  • Linux system administration, Ubuntu/Debian experience
  • Strong communication and cooperation skills
  • Agile software development methodologies
  • Distributed team management
  • Technical aptitude for understanding complex distributed systems
  • Cloud topologies and technologies
