Cloud Computing Professional Role

To ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Computing Professional. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the deployment, optimization, and management of cloud resources.

The successful candidate will work closely with development teams to streamline cloud deployments, optimize resource utilization, and support infrastructure as code initiatives. They will oversee security, permissions, and costs within our cloud environment, develop and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines, utilize Terraform and Ansible to manage cloud configurations, deploy and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters, design and configure common Azure services such as web application firewalls, gateways, networking components, and security solutions, and configure and maintain Azure SQL databases, storage solutions, App Service Plans, and KeyVaults.

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, technologies, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based systems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure to meet business requirements
  • Developing and managing continuous integration and deployment pipelines
  • Utilizing Terraform and Ansible to manage cloud configurations
  • Deploying and managing Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters
  • Designing and configuring common Azure services
  • Configuring and maintaining Azure SQL databases, storage solutions, App Service Plans, and KeyVaults
