Job Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Barista and Beverage Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of coffee and tea preparation.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a 4-year Food and Beverage related course or at least college level
  • At least 1-year work experience in a casual dine-in restaurant or fast food is an advantage
  • Fresh Graduate with On the Job Training background as Barista
  • Preferably employed with coffee or beverage shops like Starbucks, UCC, Coffee Bean, Bo's Coffee, Krispy Kreme, Tim Hortons, Jamba Juice, Seattle Best, and Cinnabon
  • Visible Tattoo is allowed as long as it can be concealed or can be covered by an arm sleeve

Responsibilities:

  • Promotes company product by educating customers; preparing and serving a variety of drinks
  • Welcomes customers by determining their interests and needs
  • Educates customers by presenting and explaining the drink menu; answering questions
  • Prepares and sells drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for the specific drinks, such as, milk tea, fruit tea, fresh tea, cream and latte, juice, chocolate, slush and coffee
  • Generates revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products
  • Maintains inventories by replenishing supply; stocking; maintaining supplies
  • Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; addressing the preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
