This position requires a Site Engineer to provide supervision on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with approved designs and standards. Key responsibilities include managing construction projects, preparing cost estimates, and implementing safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise construction projects to ensure compliance with approved designs and standards
  • Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, including preparation of cost estimates and implementation of safety standards
  • Guide workers and vendors, ensuring high-quality materials are used throughout the project
  • Provide technical advice and suggestions for improvement
  • Validate quantity, condition, and approval of materials prior to government payment
  • Attend and witness selected tests, reviewing applicable test reports and results
  • Keep government sponsors informed of project status
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Licensed Engineer or Architect
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, QC Manager, or Construction Manager
  • Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements and experienced in hazard identification and safety compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
