The Director of Provider Enrollment plays a critical role in ensuring the successful enrollment of healthcare providers into our system. As a leader within the Provider Enrollment department, this individual will be responsible for directing the day-to-day operations, developing strong relationships with internal teams and external clients, and driving business growth through process improvements and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Directs the Provider Enrollment department's day-to-day operations, including recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff.
- Develops relationships with internal teams and external clients, providing regular status updates on credentialing deliverables and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Analyzes data and identifies trends, making recommendations to management on workflow processes to optimize results.
- Develops policies and procedures to ensure consistent implementation across the department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent training and/or experience.
- At least five years of experience in physician billing, hospital billing, or vendor management.
- At least two years of supervisory/management/leadership experience.
