About the Opportunity

CITADEL Pacific is seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting operations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Account Reconciliation: Perform general ledger account reconciliations and ensure that all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
  2. Journal Entry Processing: Process journal entries in accordance with group financial policies and local IFRS principles.
  3. Chart of Accounts Management: Maintain the integrity of the chart of accounts and ensure that all changes are implemented accurately.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes as needed to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  5. Support and Guidance: Provide primary and backup support for OPCOS teams and ensure that all R2R process maps are fit for purpose and continually updated.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a four-year course, preferably accountancy or business related.
  • 3 years + experience in General Accounting or other related roles in a Shared Services environment.
  • Excellent understanding of the business, ideally with an in-depth knowledge of customer service operation / commercial / sales support/ billing and OTC processes.
  • Good negotiation, complex payment, and allocation issues skills.
  • Broad Finance/Credit Management knowledge & strong financial knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of Record to Report process.
  • Able to establish credibility with internal/external customers and tackle major customer-related issues.
  • Enhanced analytical and innovation skills.
  • Proven presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to apply strategy to internal business.
