We are seeking a highly qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Site/Office Engineer for a 6-month project-based position in Subic Shipyard. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance, administering the Construction Quality Management Program, and ensuring project site safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee assigned projects to ensure adherence to approved design and standards.
  2. Coordinate construction projects, develop cost estimates, quality assurance, and implement safety protocols.
  3. Mentor and guide workers, collaborate with vendors, and verify material quality.
  4. Offer technical guidance and suggestions for process improvements.
  5. Verify material quantities, conditions, and approvals before issuing invoices.
  6. Participate in and observe selected tests, review relevant test reports, and results.
  7. Communicate project status to the Government sponsor while working independently.
  8. Perform additional duties related to this position.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Engineering Technology.
  • Professional licensure as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
  • Experience in managing road, large slab, pavement concrete projects.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, Project Engineer, or QA/QC Engineer.
  • Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 regulations and expertise in identifying hazards and maintaining safety standards.
  • Exceptional English communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license with willingness to travel.
