About the Role

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate revenue analysis and reporting, as well as acting as a Revenue Assurance Subject Matter Expert on projects/initiatives that could impact the end-to-end billing architecture or existing Revenue Assurance controls.
  • This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, IT/Technology, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure revenue assurance best practices are aligned with different stakeholders.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for performing key business audits, ensuring new revenue assurance monitoring tools are in line with expectations, and speaking to the business to ensure revenue assurance best practices are aligned.
  • Additional responsibilities include measuring and tracking KPIs and outcomes against standards, planning and taking corrective action where required, ensuring chargeable records are generated correctly, metered correctly, and appear correctly on end customer billing, and performing regular reconciliation and analysis of revenue streams.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for managing any issue that potentially impacts revenues, from identification through to quantification through to resolution, preventing and minimizing potential revenue leakage.
  • Furthermore, the candidate will develop an understanding of internal and external customer needs and ensure all activities and excellent delivery of customer satisfaction, reviews and validates existing and new products, services, and promotions, conducts quality assurance testing on key processes and systems changes, and monitors published tariffs are implemented accurately.
  • In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in either revenue assurance, audit, and/or data analysis, working knowledge of tools such as SQL, MS tools (Excel, Access etc.) and Tableau, knowledge and experience of all facets of revenue assurance covering key principles related to controls for network components, IT systems, business processes, reconciliations, financial performance, and reporting, UAT testing experience, ability to liaise with the business on issues of business performance related to revenue assurance, an inquisitive and analytical mind, i.e. be someone driven by 'what if' scenarios that inform direction and decisions, experience of revenue assurance and troubleshooting, sound understanding of the technical infrastructure within a telecoms company, including network components, billing, mediation, CRM, and provisioning, experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines, good knowledge of tools to process and reconcile data, such as Excel pivot tables, excellent Leadership skills, possess enthusiasm, initiative & a positive 'can do' attitude in exceeding expectations, proactive critical thinker with effective planning, scheduling, and time management skills, highly effective written & verbal reporting (communication) skills.
