We are looking for a talented Cost Engineer/Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and managing cost estimates, conducting revenue analysis and forecasts, tracking actual costs, and identifying cost variances.

In this fully remote role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Project Manager and other project stakeholders to ensure projects stay within budget and meet financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage cost reports for the project, including cost-to-complete assignment on a monthly basis.
  • Monitor manpower allocations and forecast project-specific allocations.
  • Perform quantity surveying tasks, including preparing bill of quantities/bill of materials and coordinating with procurement team to determine rates and estimated costs.
  • Track actual costs, analyse variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support the Project Manager and other project stakeholders in cost-related decision-making.
  • Prepare, review, and follow up on client and subcontractor payment applications, ensuring all supporting documents comply with contractual clauses and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cost engineering / quantity surveying.
  • Experience with cost control software and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
