The Business Development Representative position involves creating opportunities and scheduling appointments for product demonstrations and sales pitches. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for generating leads and coordinating meetings between prospective customers and our sales experts.
Key Responsibilities:- Create new business opportunities through lead generation and appointment setting.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings between potential clients and our sales professionals.
- Attend regular sales team meetings and training sessions as directed by management.
- Follow up with potential customers who expressed interest but never committed to move forward in the sales process.
- Consistently expand your knowledge of our products by consuming relevant content in our sales training center.
- Participate in daily sales syncs via video conferencing to discuss sales initiatives, analyze sales call recordings, and strategize around the pipeline.
- Engage in question-led discovery conversations to identify challenges, pain points, and gaps that create a need for our solutions.
- Build strong relationships with leads using a consultative sales approach to understand their goals, objectives, and buying motivations.
- Utilize our sales materials to ensure leads consume relevant information prior to meeting with a sales expert.
- Achieve or exceed sales appointment quotas and targets, consistently meeting or exceeding sales performance expectations.
- Adhere to CRM best practices to track and manage sales activities, including lead management, follow-up, and accurate forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and successful sales process.
- 6 months of previous experience in a similar role or as an SDR in a high-ticket or consultative sales environment.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with a strong drive for success.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems.
