Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team.

This role is accountable for the development of new systems as well as maintenance, troubleshooting and debugging of legacy code.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance existing systems with new functionality.
  • Investigate and resolve reported issues.
  • Guide maintenance and design of legacy and database systems/applications.
  • Developing test cases and testing of code developed by yourself and others.
  • Provide support to the wider development team.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to accurately scope and design system requirements.
  • Maintain documentation for internal systems, APIs, and databases.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in software development, ideally in telecommunications.
  • Experience working in remote-based teams.
  • Extensive experience on database design, implementation, and management.
  • Strong understanding of SQL queries.
  • Strong understanding of PHP and GitHub.
  • Strong understanding of Laravel framework.
