Job Role:

NIR Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled NIR specialist to join our team. As an NIR specialist, you will be responsible for performing near infrared analysis and monitoring trends in laboratory data.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Analyzing samples of raw materials and finished products using near infrared technology.
  • Releasing NIR results to quality assurance personnel for acceptance criteria.
  • Issuing non-conformity reports for non-conforming raw materials and requesting corrective action.
  • Scheduling water sampling and testing based on HACCP requirements.
  • Maintaining the working condition of near infrared equipment and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Monitoring and investigating customer complaints.
  • Preparing samples for monthly NIR follow-up calibration performance.
  • Monitoring monthly control charts and reporting any deviations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or chemical engineering.
  • Licensed chemist/chemical technician (advantageous but not required).
  • Experience in laboratory operations is advantageous but fresh graduates may qualify.
  • Above-average competence in Microsoft office applications.
