Job Summary:

The Data Privacy Specialist role at Eastern Communications is focused on ensuring the company's adherence to all legal, regulatory, and internal policies related to data privacy.

The key responsibilities include mitigating risks to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal data, prioritizing high-risk issues based on the nature and purpose of data processing.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in data and analytics, with proven experience in Data Privacy Governance and Compliance, Data Governance, and Data Privacy Awareness and Management.

You will also need excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the company's adherence to all legal, regulatory, and internal policies related to data privacy.
  • Mitigating risks to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal data.
  • Prioritizing high-risk issues based on the nature and purpose of data processing.
Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree graduate

Proven experience in Data Privacy Governance and Compliance, Data Governance, and Data Privacy Awareness and Management

Strong foundation in data and analytics

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively

High level of integrity and ethical standards

Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
