As a business journalist and public relations associate, you will be responsible for reporting on business stories and assisting with journalistic work. You will also be working alongside other business journalists and PR associates to create engaging content.

The Role

This role involves writing and scheduling weekly newsletters, as well as creating podcast features. You will also be responsible for pitching, researching, and writing newsworthy press releases. Additionally, you will manage public affairs and media efforts, including writing and placing op-eds and mobilizing editorial campaigns.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You should have the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Photoshop would be an asset. Technical competence to resolve and troubleshoot problems independently through use of Google or reading the manual is essential.
