Cloud Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our growing Australian tech company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud development and possess excellent programming skills.

The successful applicant will design and develop software applications following coding standards and Agile development methodology. This includes developing microservices according to specifications, estimating effort during sprint planning, and evaluating open-source options for similar technologies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design products following coding standards and Agile development methodology.
  • Develop microservices following specifications.
  • Estimate level of effort during sprint planning and evaluate open-source options for similar technologies.
  • Design and develop specifications with attention to system integration and data management.
  • Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of professional experience with Python.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience with Web API architectures, REST (highly preferred), SOAP, or GraphQL.
  • At least 2 years of programming experience working with Cloud Architecture and Platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Experience working in a serverless project.
  • Experience with development working with databases.
  • At least 6 months of Serverless framework background.
  • Knowledgeable in Clean Architecture and OOAD.
  • Experience in database design and architecture for SQL and NoSQL databases.

This is a full-time position following the standard business hours.
