Job Title: Dental Claims Specialist

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to take on a challenging role in the field of dental insurance. As a Dental Claims Specialist, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

  • You will be responsible for managing and processing claims, resolving issues, and providing support while upholding quality and integrity.
  • Your duties will include follow-up status of outstanding insurance claims, ensuring all follow-ups are properly documented and communicated.
  • You will also be responsible for sending out claims and attachments to insurance companies, determining denial validity, and addressing them accordingly.
  • Other tasks include generating OI reports, claim resubmission and reprocessing, clearing rejected claims, and updating weekly office trackers.
  • You will need to generate EFT reports, retrieve EOBs from insurance portals, and post payments accurately.
  • In addition, you will be required to identify any insurance process updates or issues and communicate findings with the team.
  • You must remain professional at all times, observing work ethics and adhering to the work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and Process Claims: Ensure timely and accurate processing of claims, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Responsible Communication: Maintain proper documentation and communication regarding follow-up status of outstanding insurance claims.
  • Claim Resubmission: Determine denial validity and address claims accordingly.
  • Reports Generation: Generate OI reports, EFT reports, and retrieve EOBs from insurance portals for posting.
  • Clear Rejected Claims: Clear rejected claims on a weekly basis and update weekly office trackers accordingly.
Requirements
  • Strong Command of Verbal and Written English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with little to no accent when speaking.
  • Background in Dental Insurance: A background in dental insurance or collections industries is essential for this role.
  • Hands-on Collections Experience: At least 3+ years of hands-on collections experience is required.
  • Motivated and Detail-Oriented: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as this is a remote position.
  • Outstanding Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up skills are essential for success in this role.
