About the Role:

We are seeking a Reporting Solutions Developer to join our team at GAR Technologies Inc.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Foreign Equivalent Degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 1 year of related work experience.

This role involves working on various projects to design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions per client requirements using Cognos development processes and standards.

The successful candidate will have expertise in utilizing best practices in designs of data models and ETL processes to accurately build and report data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions per reporting requirements
  • Implement and continuously improve Cognos development processes and standards
  • Install and configure Cognos environments; define Data Sources and their associated connections in Cognos Connection
  • Utilize best practices in designs of data models and ETL processes to accurately build and report data

Requirements:

  • Mastery of Cognos development processes and standards
  • Excellent understanding of data modeling and ETL processes
  • Proficiency in Crystal Report Enterprise
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
