At GCash, we're committed to creating a workplace that fosters innovation, collaboration, and growth. We're seeking an experienced Level 2 Application Support professional to join our Technology & Operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Providing level 2 support for critical applications to ensure prompt issue resolution and minimal disruption.
- Designing and implementing automation solutions using Python scripting to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
- Developing and optimizing SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and troubleshooting purposes.
- Maintaining application performance, system logs, and alerts to proactively detect and resolve issues.
- Documenting known issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in our knowledge base for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 4 years of experience in level 2 application support or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in Python scripting for automation and process optimization.
- Proficiency in SQL scripting, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
- Experience with incident management tools and monitoring tools.
