About the Role

We are looking for a Travel Industry Business Development Manager to lead our hotel contracting efforts.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in negotiation and business development.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Negotiating special offers and exclusive deals with hotels.
  2. Identifying potential partner hotels and conducting business meetings.
  3. Ensuring all hotels are re-contracted with specific deadlines.
  4. Addressing and resolving any standard or service level issues with suppliers.
  5. Analyzing internal issues with operations and account colleagues and working on resolving them.
  6. Monitoring room production closely and collaborating with relevant parties to stimulate booking, room night, and revenue growth.
  7. Conducting business trips to improve supplier relations and negotiating best-in-market rates per business requirements.
  8. Identifying new products that align with room nights and sales requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in Travel Sales or Inbound operations.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience in Hotel Contracting or a related field.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts.
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels.
  • Initiative to grow and expand the business.
