Job Responsibilities

As a senior full-stack engineer, you will be accountable for developing and deploying innovative features that significantly impact our customers' lives daily.

You will be part of a team delivering almost 1000 new features annually, contributing to the acceleration of our product strategy.

  • Drive your squad to develop critical features for our customers, primarily using Ruby. We provide training to ensure you have the necessary skills.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and UX specialists to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write automated tests for your production codes.
  • Develop and maintain key components of web applications.
  • Conduct testing and code reviews for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Mentor junior engineers within your squad.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you must embody our core principles and possess the following skills and qualifications.

  • Be a highly skilled software development engineer with 6+ years of experience.
  • Have a focus on server-side and RESTful API development and integration.
  • Be proficient in at least one programming language, such as Ruby or Python. We will upskill you in Ruby when you join.
  • Have proven experience implementing, maintaining, and deploying full-stack web technologies.
  • Have a strong understanding of best practice software engineering processes, testing, and Agile methodology.
  • Be a team player who puts colleagues ahead of yourself and has a highly adaptable approach to work.
  • Have good verbal and written English skills.
  • Be passionate about learning, sharing knowledge, and mentoring teammates.
