As an Internal Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of our organizational risk management plan. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the development of this plan, planning financial, regulatory, compliance, or operational reviews/audits, analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of our control system to mitigate risk and promote a control culture within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development of organizational Risk Management Plan
  2. Plan financial, regulatory, compliance or operational reviews/audits
  3. Periodically analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the control system in place to mitigate risk and promote the control culture of the organization
  4. Conduct performance audit and special audit investigations as and when necessary, or upon request by an appropriate authority
  5. Liaise with all departments within the organization to ensure effective and efficient auditing of operations
  6. Coordinate audit activities with external auditors
  7. Recommend changes in policies and procedures in a way that shall impact positively on the achievement of the goals and objectives of the Audit Unit in the organization
  8. Examine and report on the organization's fixed assets register from time to time

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in accounting and auditing, specifically holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively interact with various stakeholders within the organization.
