Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and approves drawings, identifies conflicts, and provides explanations to linemen and aides.
  • Certifies survey equipment and conducts calibration procedures before use.
  • Provides support to survey aids and linemen as needed.

Construction Responsibilities:

  • Establishes horizontal and vertical control points with precision and accuracy.
  • Ensures proper usage of equipment and tools.
  • Collaborates with inspectors to verify survey measurements meet specifications.
  • Computes geodetic measurements and interprets survey data to determine positions, shapes, and elevations.
  • Prepares all necessary data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents.
  • Serves as a guide and supervisor for survey aids/lineman.

Post-Construction Responsibilities:

  • Delivers accurate as-built data for further assessment.

General Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with project managers and construction crews.
  • Submits monthly accomplishment reports to the unit head.
  • Provides monthly equipment monitoring status updates to the unit head.
