Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

The ideal candidate will have experience with automation testing, including test plan development, execution, and reporting. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail are also essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
  3. Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test suites to validate software functionality.
  4. Utilize defect tracking and management tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla to report and track issues.
  5. Participate in CI/CD pipelines, integrating testing suites to support continuous delivery.
  6. Conduct API testing using tools like Karate to verify backend functionalities.
  7. Maintain and update automated test scripts to adapt to changes in software features.
  8. Analyze test results and provide feedback to stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  9. Contribute to improving testing processes and implementing best practices.
  10. Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across different environments and browsers.
  11. Support UAT and production release cycles, ensuring seamless deployment and minimal defects.
  12. Document test evidence and maintain traceability to requirements.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in automation testing.
  2. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  3. Experience in test plan development, test case creation, execution, and reporting.
  4. Familiarity with defect tracking and management tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  6. Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  7. Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
  8. ISTQB or similar certification is a plus, showcasing a commitment to quality assurance standards.
  9. Familiarity with automation scripting using Cypress and Selenium, with proven ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
  10. Experience with API testing using tools like Karate is an advantage.
  11. Proficient in using Cypress and WebdriverIO for front-end and end-to-end test automation.
  12. Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java-based frameworks.
  13. Experience working in Agile environments, actively participating in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
  14. Skilled in using GitLab and Jenkins for CI/CD integration.
  15. Solid background in testing both web and mobile applications (Android and iOS).
