Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

As a senior DevOps professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our platform infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines and IaC solutions to automate platform infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- Owning the operational health and performance of both production and pre-production environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Building and maintaining ephemeral environments for development, testing, and QA, automating provisioning and decommissioning to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align platform services with development needs, providing technical expertise to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and enhance collaboration throughout the development lifecycle.
- Utilizing monitoring tools to monitor platform performance and quickly respond to incidents, leading root cause analysis, resolving performance issues, and implementing preventative measures.
- Ensuring platform infrastructure adheres to security policies and compliance standards, collaborating with security teams to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, proactively implementing fixes and introducing new tools or methodologies.
- Maintaining high-quality documentation for platform processes, including contribution guides, incident handling procedures, and operational best practices, contributing to knowledge sharing within the team to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Supporting the growth and development of junior engineers by providing guidance and mentorship in technical skills, troubleshooting methodologies, and platform engineering best practices.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience as a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineer.
- Proven background in Kubernetes, IaC, Monitoring Tools, and Docker.
- Ability to inspire and motivate platform engineers and developers in solving complex technical challenges, improving skills, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities to resolve issues across various environments while maintaining operational stability.
- Effective collaboration across engineering, development, and product teams, communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
