Job Position: Senior WordPress Technical Support Engineer

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem, with a strong background in technical support and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide superior technical assistance to WordPress users via ticket and live chat systems.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues through rigorous troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive bug reports for developers to facilitate fix identification.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance overall support quality by sharing expertise and best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date proficiency in WordPress developments through continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with WordPress, including in-depth understanding of its ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with experience utilizing custom hooks and filters within WordPress.
  • Familiarity with web hosting platforms, such as cPanel, NGINX, Apache, MySQL, etc.
  • Experience with cloud hosting, CDNs, command-line operations (SSH), and WP-CLI.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record in technical/customer support or client-facing roles.
  • A strong team player with a supportive attitude, proactive approach, and passion for ongoing learning and self-improvement.
