Threat Intelligence Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Threat Intelligence Professional to own our threat intelligence strategy and execution.

The ideal candidate will have experience in understanding cyber threat actors, Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) and be able to influence enterprise architecture or product development decisions.

You will lead intelligence gathering and development activities on threat actors targeting software supply chains, study attack trends across the wider open source software landscape and report findings to internal security teams.

This role is a key contributor to Canonical's mission to secure its software infrastructure and help community members and companies around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and own threat intelligence strategy and execution
  • Lead intelligence gathering and development activities on threat actors
  • Study attack trends across the wider open source software landscape
  • Report findings to internal security teams
Requirements:
  • Experience in threat intelligence leadership
  • Knowledge of current open source threat landscape and computer networking concepts
  • Competency with OSINT tools
  • Able to identify, organise, catalogue and track adversary tradecraft trends
  • Excellent communication skills
Desired Characteristics:
  • Demonstrated involvement in the larger OSINT community
  • Degree qualified in computer science or related field
  • Certifications in related areas
