Acquisitions Specialist

This key role focuses on overseeing and advancing a portfolio of clients, fostering client relationships, and ensuring high satisfaction rates. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in Account Management or Sales, preferably within a marketplace environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify new business opportunities to secure listings and manage them through to sale.
  • Approach potential clients and schedule meetings to showcase the platform's value proposition.
  • Nurture relationships with the buyside community and manage critical strategic stakeholder connections.
  • Develop marketing materials that effectively convey the organization's expertise, qualifications, and services to potential clients.
  • Assist team members in presenting business proposals and negotiate optimal transaction terms.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene using tools like HubSpot to track leads, interactions, and opportunities efficiently.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, providing timely support by collaborating with internal departments like Customer Success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Substantial work experience, ideally with at least 2 years of experience in M&A, Brokering, or a Sales role.
  • Previous experience conducting business analysis and process improvement is highly valued.
  • Bachelor degree in business, commerce, or marketing is highly regarded.
  • Ability to build personal relationships over the phone and in person.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the small business sales environment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
