We're seeking a commercial lending Business Banker to join our Mackay branch. As a Business Banker, you'll be responsible for developing strong relationships with small business customers and providing them with expert guidance on commercial lending and other financial products.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating customer conversations to understand their goals and needs, and providing relevant solutions.
- Engaging with customers to support their business and personal goals, preparing for conversations to provide valuable insights.
- Becoming a brand ambassador within the local business community, building awareness of our business banking proposition.
- Attending stakeholder meetings to build awareness of our Small Business service offering and working together to build referral partnerships.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in commercial lending or B2B sales.
- Home lending experience.
- Sound financial analysis skills and commercial acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement/management skills.
- Excellent customer engagement skills (both face-to-face and non-face-to-face).
- FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation.
- Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2 or willingness to obtain this within 6 months.
