We are seeking a Financial Accountant with expertise in Australian accounting to join our team at Clear. As a Financial Accountant, you will work remotely with our Australia-based retail apparel client to manage the general ledger, reconcile bank transactions, and post journal entries.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing the monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations, as well as reconciling bank transactions and other accounts.

You will also be responsible for coordinating entry and payments of stock related invoices, completing monthly accruals, prepayments, journals, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules, and managing tax lodgements (GST, FBT).

Additionally, you will account for the Group credit card facility and usage, assist with cash flow reporting, prepare year-end accounts, and budget and forecast.

  • Manage the general ledger, including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations
  • Reconcile bank transactions and other accounts
  • Post journal entries for accounts payable and accounts receivable
